Why Threads, Why Now, Why BlueThread Social
A mission for a bluer America
X is no longer the digital town square.
Threads overtook X in Daily Active Users in September and widened the gap in October.
Ever since Elon Musk took over, he’s been tweaking X’s algorithm to amplify right-wing content and suppress anything else.
The Threads algorithm, on the other hand, allows Democratic ideas to thrive.
And the best part? The Threads algorithm is truly an even playing field. You could have 0 followers and still have a post rack up thousands of views.
There simply is no better pure exposure engine right now than Threads…
And yet, after analyzing the digital footprints of over over 300 Democratic candidates for Congress, I found that only a fraction of them were on Threads.
Most of them that have one are just merely cross-post from Instagram.
My philosophy is that Threads can actually be the X-factor that wins your primary.
Think AOC’s 2018 primary victory. That level of momentum can be built on Threads…and the best part?
You don’t have to spend a minute in front of the camera.
Video is valuable for sure, but think about this. People passively consume politics through video, but they actively participate in it on text-based platforms like Threads and X.
Why Now?
If we do not take the House back in 2026, we are f*cked.
There is simply no gentler way to frame it.
Democratic infighting won’t matter anymore because the regime will pull every dirty trick in the book to make sure we never have a majority in both chambers again.
We as a party have a chance to dominate Threads and keep the flow of political information out of the hands of Conservatives.
They’ve beaten us at social for too long.
But Threads is the battleground they don’t have a foothold in yet.
We can win here. If we strike now.
Why BlueThread Social?
I used to be obsessed with Twitter.
So obsessed that I used those skills to help ethical founders with sustainable businesses attract clients and investors.
I was really good at it…but COVID decimated my agency. It f*cked me up pretty bad.
I left marketing for a couple of years.
Then I got back into it, but with a focus on LinkedIn.
But AI-slop and algorithmic shifts turned LinkedIn into a ghost town.
I was given new life, though, when I got a chance in April to start creating content for a Congressional candidate.
This was work that actually mattered. I was hooked.
In 7 months, we’ve grown his followers by 450% and have generated over 2.5 million views.
And Threads content naturally gave us material for Facebook and Instagram…which local people have mentioned to my client at events.
I’ve grown my own account (I’m an aspiring author and poet in my spare time) from 0 to 800 followers and generated over 2.5 million views since August.
I had enough data to confidently believe I can repeat these results reliably.
So I spun up an “agency”.
I put that in quotes, because right now, it’s just me.
I have a larger vision for BlueThread Social, but this cycle is all about proving my thesis.
What does this mean for you?
Well, I’ll never be this hungry and this cheap ever again.
You’ll be getting 15 years of ghostwriting experience, an obsession with Threads, a deep love of politics, and a burning desire to win…for as low as $999 a month.
For context, I offered the same version of my basic package back in the Twitter golden era for $3,500.
I priced this to be affordable to candidates who don’t have a corporate war chest.
Don’t have $999 a month to have me run your account?
I have done-with-you options at $499 a month, $249 a month, and $50 per 30 minute session.
Billionaires have had the edge in the political arena for too long.
If you truly believe your constituents deserve more of a say in your decisions than billionaire donors, I’d love to help you dominate the new digital town square.
But I understand if you want more proof that I know my sh*t.
So I created a free 7-day email course that is a DIY version of my strategy. All it takes to execute is 90 minutes a day.
